Why anyone thinks his stuff is good is beyond me. The only people who do I swear spend at least 4 hours in front of BET or E!.

Yeah Mr. Perry's pretty much a hack. Laughing all the way to the bank. What we don't get is how can Madea be such a beloved character when to our mind she's a rather blatant, unflattering stereotype. Further, why is black blackface of this sort (see: Norbit, et al) so warmly embraced as camp/drag, yet a significant portion of the "black community" is still so bitterly homophobic? We don't get it.
